Cardiac Fitness Symposium for Congenital Heart Disease: Hands-On Approach to Assessments

The third annual “Cardiac Fitness Symposium for Congenital Heart Disease: Hands-On Approach to Assessments” meeting is designed to continue next steps in the emerging field of congenital cardiology rehabilitation and structured exercise therapeutics by leading a detailed examination of specific outcome assessments. This interactive course will allow a platform for providers at various institutions from around the world to address gaps in knowledge regarding assessments for this field. Live facilitated workshops will be utilized for hands-on evaluation of assessment tools. The expected output would be a road map for standardization for outcome assessments.

Course Format

This year’s conference will be in-person in Boston with the option to join virtually instead. Our in-person option will be held on the campus of Boston Children’s Hospital and will include breakout sessions in our brand new state of the art building. Tasty local lunch and snacks will be provided to our on-site participants, as well as a signature New England cocktail hour at the conclusion. Come join the networking and the fun!

1. Demonstrate an understanding of the various types of patient flexibility assessments.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of the various types of patient strength assessments.
3. Identify gaps in current practice regarding assessments for other trainable aspects, like muscles of respiration.

Due to the propriety materials and content of each course, online virtual courses orders are NOT eligible for refund, cancellation or transfer.

Participants have one month to access any virtual online course content.
Participants have until the expiration date to access the course.
Boston Children’s Hospital is not responsible for user technical difficulties including loss of internet, power outages, etc. 

Cancellation of Services
In case an event is canceled or postponed, Boston Children’s will provide a full refund or offer a credit towards future events to those who have already registered.
